and 3 reasons to work with one

There are many terms and titles out there, so I believe it's important to explain what does holistic nutrition even mean, what does a Holistic Nutritionist do - and equally importantly, doesn't do.
What does holistic nutrition mean?
Holistic "characterized by the belief that the parts of something are interconnected and can be explained only by reference to the whole"
You can probably just type the question to Chat GPT and you will get a pretty well-formed answer. So instead of repeating what AI says, I will shortly explain it in my own words.
Basically the idea of holistic nutrition is to look at the person as a whole, and to consider the interconnection between our mind and body. The main focus is on whole, nutrient-dense food, stress management, emotional wellbeing and healthy lifestyle habits.
What does a Holistic Nutritionist do?
Holistic nutritionist makes dietary and lifestyle changes based on the persons health goals by considering the connection between body and mind. Our aim is to prevent diseases, promote wellness and help you to live a balanced life.
However, a holistic nutritionist does NOT diagnose, cure, heal or treat any medical conditions - We are NOT medical professionals
3 reasons to work with a Holistic Nutritionist
1. You will be considered as a wholesome individual
By doing a lifestyle and nutritional assessments, we can evaluate your life as a whole: nutrition, lifestyle habits, sleep, work, exercise, stress levels, relationships, health concerns, allergies and other special requirements, and provide comprehensive recommendations.
2. You can get help with a variety of health concerns:
Improved digestion - relieved constipation/bloat/gas Increased energy levels Improved mood Weight loss/weight management Better sleep quality Lower cholesterol Stronger immune system
Hormone balance - PMS, PCOS, menopause etc. Healthier skin and hair
..and many others
Usually holistic nutritionists are specialized on certain health concerns, and if they can't help you the best way, they refer you to another nutritionist better equipped to assist you.
3. You will learn the basics of nutrition
Holistic Nutritionist won't provide any quick fixes, but rather educates you on the basics of nutrition in a way that you can make better decisions about your dietary and lifestyle habits. We also help you to implement changes in your diet and lifestyle in a sustainable way, that allows you to maintain them for the rest of your life.
We will help and support you as long as you need - but the end goal is that you are able to continue independently.
