Hi!
I'm Sofia Sipinen,
a Holistic Nutritionist and
the founder of Two Thirds Nutrition.
I have a passion for all things gut health
- and I want to help people improve their well-being through nutrition and lifestyle.
But here's what I know about you..
Since you have found my page, you can probably relate to some of the following:

You've eaten and after your clothes felt tight because you were so bloated
You have difficulty concentrating and experience low moods
After dinner you get super tired and need a nap because of "food coma"
You have such stomach pains that you have to just lay down trying to find
a comfortable position
You find it hard to have enough energy to manage the day-to-day life
Going to the toilet is a struggle - and varies from constipation to diarrhea
When you're stressed, your stomach symptoms worsen - and when you have stomach pain you experience low mood
Well, I can also relate to those symptoms.
After years of working as a chef in hectic restaurant environments, my poor diet, stress, late-night eating, and lack of routine had affected my health. I experienced weight gain, my skin was in bad shape, and I had mood imbalances alongside being bloated and having constant stomach issues. While I loved being a chef, sacrificing my health wasn't worth it.
Because of my own struggles, I started exploring the possibilities to study nutrition. I wanted to learn about the connection between our mind and body, how our lifestyle, dietary choices, and mindset can influence our health and well-being. I wanted to expand my knowledge of food I had as a chef where it was used purely as an enjoyment, and learn to use it also as "medicine". In other words, I wanted to know how I could help myself and people around me to feel better.

After extensive research, I enrolled in the Natural Nutrition program offered by the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. And in 2022, I proudly graduated as a Holistic Nutritionist! However, I wanted to dig even deeper in the world of gut health, gut microbiome and how our gut and brain communicate. I did a gut-brain diploma course to be able understand more of the communication between gut and brain, and to better support their precious co-operation.
Now, my goal is to share this valuable information and assist you in understanding the impact you can have on your well-being by making changes in your diet and lifestyle. By focusing on supporting your gut health, I can help you alleviate issues such as bloating, mood imbalances, low energy, constipation/diarrhea and abdominal discomfort.
